Strategists
What you are playing against
He shoots Accursed Pistols and transforms into a Half-Demon state through Leaded Transformation for lifesteal. Mantle of Oblivion is a sphere barrier. Abyssal Veil Blinds enemies who walk through it, and enemy projectiles that pass through it lose damage and healing. Void Walk gives him free flight. Demon of the End, his ult, fires shots that pierce enemies and barriers.
Season 10 (Sep 8, 2026) cut him back: health 600 to 550, Mantle cooldown 10s to 12s, and Abyssal Veil's projectile reduction from 35% to 20%.
Picks that work
Wolverine wins the 1v1. Melee damage isn't a projectile, so the Veil does less against him.
Iron Fist (+7.8) and Scarlet Witch (+6.7) are the other duelists in his top five; Invisible Woman and Cloak & Dagger are the supports.
Our list also rates Gorr, Jubilee and Gambit, with Magneto and The Thing as soft picks.
Habits that beat him
Walk around Abyssal Veil, not through it. Passing through blinds you.
His ult pierces barriers, so a shield won't save you. Break line of sight instead.
Your projectiles lose damage and healing when they pass through the Veil. Supports with projectile heals should angle around it.
