How to counter Gorr

Counter picks for Gorr

From our counter data, strongest first. Bars show the weight: strong, good, soft. How weights work

What you are playing against

Gorr is a melee duelist with 175 health and a 175 regenerating shield. All-Black is a four-hit combo with a 7m reach. Black Berserker summons small Berserkers (two charges), and Necro-Power slows a target and teleports his Berserkers to it. Shadow Harvest warps him to a Berserker and sacrifices it for bonus health. Living Abyss is an invincible surge into a Necroverse zone, and his ult, Twilight of the Gods, opens a huge Necroverse and gives him the Annihilablade.

The Season 10.5 balance post (Oct 6, 2026) trimmed Shadow Scythe and Shockwave damage, cut the ult from 12s to 10s, and changed Living Abyss to a shorter cooldown with lower movement speed.

Picks that work

Peni Parker wins the 1v1. Her webs and mines punish a melee hero who has to walk in.

Devil Dinosaur can't be displaced and turns damage into bonus health with Frenzied Feast. Ultron flies out of his reach and keeps healing.

Rogue (+5.8) and Iron Man (+5.4) are the next tier on Counterwatch.

Habits that beat him

Kill Berserkers. Each one is a teleport target for Necro-Power and a health pack for Shadow Harvest.

Living Abyss is invincible. Back off it, then punish when it ends.

His easiest targets are Black Cat, Spider-Man, Mantis, Rocket and The Hood. If you're on one of them, don't take a 1v1.
