RivalsCounters.com is a fan-made Marvel Rivals counter tool. There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your name or email. This page covers what our analytics record and what Google records when it shows ads here.

Analytics (Usermaven)

We use Usermaven to count visits and see which parts of the site get used: pages viewed, which heroes people look up, whether the Team Builder gets run, which guide links get clicked, and broad details like browser, device type, country and the site that sent you here.

Usermaven runs here in its strict privacy mode, which means:

  • No cookies are set and no persistent ID is stored, so separate visits can't be tied back to the same person.
  • Your full IP address isn't kept. It's used only to look up an approximate country and region.
  • Events that haven't been sent yet can sit briefly in your browser's local storage, then they're cleared.
  • Data goes to mvn.rivalscounters.com, a subdomain of this site that Usermaven operates for us.

We don't collect anything you type into the hero search. We use this data to see which counters, guides and tools are useful, and to find broken links. We don't sell it.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some pages may show ads from Google AdSense, marked "Advertisement". Ads are what keep the site free. Google, not us, decides which ad you see, and Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to do that:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Ads may also be measured with your IP address, device and browser details, and the page you're on, for example to count impressions and catch fraud.

You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors' personalized ads at aboutads.info. With personalized ads off you'll still see ads, just ones based on the page rather than on you.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google appears before any personalized ads. You can accept, refuse, or pick specific purposes and vendors. If you refuse, Google shows only non-personalized or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy and cookie settings link that the message leaves on the page.

Our Usermaven analytics don't set cookies or keep an identifier, so they don't wait for that choice.

Cookies

The site itself doesn't need cookies to work, and our analytics don't use any. Cookies you find from this site come from Google's ads and its consent message. You can clear or block them in your browser; the counter tool works the same without them.

Children

The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Other sites

Guides link to sites such as Counterwatch and the official Marvel Rivals site. Their privacy policies apply once you leave.
